Solana Update Briefing

The update briefing is the appointment the desk is built around. You name one Solana change — a client release, a token-program note, or a governance draft — and a reader walks it with you until the sequence is clear enough to keep.

Who it is for

Validator operators, program authors, and treasury or operations staff who already read the English documentation and want a guided pass through one change rather than a stack of loose tabs.

What you leave with

You leave with a marked section: what the change says in the public text, what it asks of your role, and which points are still unsettled. The same pages stay open for email questions for seven days.

Scope

One cluster of related changes, agreed before the sitting. A client release together with its feature-gate list counts as one cluster. A second topic waits for another appointment.

Included

  • A short reading list sent at least one day before the sitting
  • Ninety minutes in the reading room or on a scheduled call
  • A printed or emailed annotation of the pages covered
  • Seven days of email questions about those same pages

Left with you

  • Trading decisions and any view on price
  • Custody of keys and machine access
  • Writing or deploying programs
  • Legal, tax, and audit sign-off

Who sits with you

Mina Cho leads briefings. When the document sits on the token shelf, Junho Park may lead instead. The confirmation email names the reader before you travel.

How the appointment runs

  1. You write to the desk with the document title and your role.
  2. The desk confirms a date and sends the reading list.
  3. You sit for ninety minutes with the pages open.
  4. You leave with the annotation. Questions on those pages stay open by email for seven days.

Before you come

Name the document and the role you hold. Read the list that arrives the day before. Bring the questions you already tried to answer on your own.

Limits of the sitting

The sitting stays on the agreed cluster. Draft text is marked as draft in the annotation. A call uses the same fee and the same ninety minutes as a chair in the room.

Fee

180,000 KRW per session. Fixed fee, confirmed in writing before the date is held. Figures are published so you can plan; the desk confirms the amount in writing and arranges payment by email. See rates and refunds.
