What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site can ask your browser to store and send back on later visits. This site’s banner uses local storage instead: a key that stays in your browser and is read only on this device. The privacy notice explains the enquiry data the desk keeps.
Types we use
Essential storage: one key that remembers whether you accepted or rejected the banner, so the banner does not cover the page on every visit. Analytics cookies: none are set. The site does not load an analytics script, either before or after you choose. Marketing cookies: none.

Third-party requests
The pages request typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). That is a network request to Google, which may use its own cookies or logs under Google’s policies. Lucid Orbitfield does not read those cookies. No other third-party cookies are placed by our pages. Rejecting the banner does not turn those font requests off; you can block them in your browser if you prefer.
How to manage or disable storage
Use Reject on the banner if you do not want the choice recorded as Accept. Reject still writes the key “reject” so the banner stays dismissed. If you would rather store nothing, clear site data for lucid-orbitfield.click after dismissing the banner, or block storage for the site in your browser settings. Browser help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge explain how to remove cookies and site data. Blocking all storage does not stop you from reading the shelves or sending an enquiry.
Impact of disabling
If the key is missing, the banner appears again on the next visit. Appointments, field notes, rates, and the enquiry form keep working. Because we do not run analytics cookies, rejecting the banner changes only the banner, not the content of the library.
