Reserved table in the reading room
Desk Hours
Desk hours are for readers who already know which shelf they need. The hour is yours at a table. A librarian stays in the room for short questions about where a note is filed.
- Fee
- 25,000 KRW per hour
- Time
- 60 minutes
- Place
- Reading room in Jeongeup-si, during daytime hours
Who it is for
Repeat readers, circle alumni, and operators who want quiet time with the binders between longer appointments.
What you leave with
You finish the hour with the binders you came for, and with any short filing question answered. A full walk-through of a new release belongs in a briefing.
Scope
Use of the shelves and short questions. The librarian will point, define a filing term, and stop when the question needs a full sitting.
Included
- A reserved table for sixty minutes
- Access to the runtime, token, fee, and governance shelves
- A librarian in the room for short questions
- Scrap paper and a pencil
Left with you
- Removing binders from the building
- A private briefing inside the same hour
- Help that needs your keys or your host
Who sits with you
Junho Park or Mina Cho, whoever is the duty librarian that day. The confirmation names them.
How the appointment runs
- You ask for a date and an hour inside Tuesday-to-Saturday daytime hours.
- The desk confirms the table.
- You read. Short questions are welcome.
- Binders go back to their shelf at the end of the hour.
Before you come
Arrive with the shelf name or the document title. If you need a long explanation, book a briefing instead and keep the desk hour for follow-up reading.
Limits of the sitting
One reader or one pair sharing a single hour. Cups stay on the sideboard. A second hour is offered only when the next booking allows it.
Fee
25,000 KRW per hour. Per reserved hour, a second hour only if the table is free. Figures are published so you can plan; the desk confirms the amount in writing and arranges payment by email. See rates and refunds.
Reserve a desk hour and name the shelf you want open.
