Privacy notice

This notice explains how Lucid Orbitfield handles personal information when you use lucid-orbitfield.click or book a reading appointment. It was last revised on 21 September 2026.

Data controller

What we collect

From the enquiry form or from email: your name, email address, the appointment you ask about, a preferred date, whether you hope to visit the room or join by call, and the message you write. That message may include your role and a document title. If a commissioned note needs a description of your setup, we keep the description you choose to send. We ask you to leave out keys, seed phrases, account secrets, and resident registration numbers. Payment details, when a fee is due, are exchanged by email or by the transfer method named in the confirmation, and are stored only as needed to match the payment to the appointment.

The site also stores a cookie-choice key in your browser. See the cookie notice. Server logs of the host that serves the site may record an IP address and a user agent for a short period as part of ordinary hosting.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to answer you, to hold or decline a date, to prepare a reading list or a quote, and to deliver the annotation or note you asked for. We use payment records to reconcile fees and refunds. We use the cookie-choice key only to remember whether the banner should stay hidden. The legal bases we rely on under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea are your consent when you send an enquiry, and the steps required to perform the appointment you request.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months after the last message in the thread, then deleted. Booking notes tied to a completed appointment are kept for 24 months. Commissioned notes are kept for 36 months as part of the shelf record. If you ask us to remove your name and contact details from a shelf copy, we do so, while the technical reading may remain without your identity. Payment reconciliation records are kept for the period Korean bookkeeping rules require. The browser key for cookie choice stays until you clear it.

Sharing

Staff of Lucid Orbitfield read the enquiries. We do not sell personal information. A hosting provider may process site logs on our instructions. If you pay by bank transfer, your bank and ours process the transfer under their own rules. We disclose information when Korean law requires it.

International transfers

Appointment records are kept in the Republic of Korea. If you email us from a provider whose servers sit outside Korea, that provider handles the transit of your message before it reaches the desk. Pages on this site request font files from Google, which may involve processing outside Korea. Those requests send standard technical data such as IP address to Google. We do not send your enquiry form contents to Google.

Your rights

Under the Personal Information Protection Act you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, and you may ask us to stop using it where the law gives you that right. Write to hello@lucid-orbitfield.click or call 0428239887. We will answer within the period Korean law requires. You may also complain to the Personal Information Protection Commission. Closing an enquiry does not by itself delete records we must keep for a confirmed booking or a refund.

Children

The desk does not seek information from children. A parent or guardian who books for a minor provides the contact details.
